With our proprietary technology, you can confidently navigate the world of wine and eliminate the guesswork when selecting a bottle. By rating just six wines, we will match any wine to your Recommendation Zone. Simply search for a wine or scan the UPC using our app, and we will provide you with product details along with your personal match to the wine before you make a purchase or place an order. Our extensive analysis of thousands of popular wines enables us to assist our community in choosing the perfect bottle whether they are shopping in person or dining at a restaurant.

The Firstleaf Pocket Sommelier app allows you to manage your Firstleaf account on the go. You can easily update your settings, manage your orders, and rate wines directly from the app. To rate a Firstleaf wine, simply scan the UPC on the back label. We will load the wine's details, allowing you to rate it with a simple tap. The more wines you rate, the more accurate our recommendations become. The app makes it effortless to learn about and rate the wines you try, whether they are exclusive to Firstleaf or from your local grocery store.

We are also introducing personalized recommendations for non-Firstleaf wines to both our members and guests. This means that you can take advantage of our data-driven guidance everywhere you go. Our machine-learning algorithm helps us understand your taste preferences based on your rating history. Just like with Firstleaf wines, as you rate more, we are able to provide more customized insights, simplifying the wine-selection process.

The app also allows you to manage your cellar and create custom wine lists that are tailored to your preferences, making your wine journey both convenient and enjoyable.

How Recommendations Work:

1. Search for a wine you have tried using either the search functionality or the UPC scan feature.
2. Navigate to the wine's product description page and rate the wine with a Like or Dislike.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have rated 6 wines. Your ratings will determine how wines are recommended to you. The more wines you rate, the more accurate our recommendations become.
4. Once you have rated 6 wines, search for a wine you haven't tried. The wine's product page will now display one of three recommendation zones.

Recommendation Zones:

1. The Comfort Zone is your sweet spot. Based on your ratings history, we are highly confident that you will enjoy most wines in this zone.
2. The Explorer's Corner is a safe zone where you can expand your tastes. We are fairly confident that you will like many of the wines that fall within this zone.
3. The Adventurer's Edge is the zone where selections are more daring or unknown. We are less confident that you will enjoy wines in this zone.
